Job summary

WNC Corporation in Mexico is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate activities across production areas, supervise group leaders and maintain safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to work instructions, following the production plan, participating in tier meetings, and driving continuous improvement with Engineering, Materials, HSE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate to Advanced English required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee activities within production areas and supervise group leaders.
• Follow up on the production plan established by Planning.
• Participate in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 meetings.
• Apply 5S practices in the work area and follow up on audit findings.
• Ensure work instructions are followed for sequence, content, timing, quality and safety.
• Approve changes to work instructions with Engineering, Materials, HSE, Quality and Training.
• Ensure on-time completion of models impacting OTTR (on-time delivery to customer).
• Ensure operators comply with internal disciplinary rules.
• Manage assigned personnel including discipline, payroll pre-processing, attendance, training and performance evaluations.
• Prepare and review production metrics and reports.
• Track production rejections and implement corrective actions with support departments.
