North American Production Sharing de México, S.A. de C.V. seeks an experienced Senior SMT Engineer to lead innovation and continuous improvement in SMT manufacturing.

The role emphasizes operational efficiency, product quality, and successful NPI execution while collaborating with Production, Quality, Engineering, Automation, and R&D teams. You will program, set up, validate, and optimize SMT equipment (PnP, screen printers, reflow ovens, wave solder, AOI/SPI), drive Lean Six Sigma projects,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Advanced SMT and PCBA manufacturing process expertise.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Mansioni

• Lead innovation, productivity, and efficiency initiatives across SMT manufacturing operations.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing transfer activities.
• Program, validate, and optimize SMT equipment to maximize throughput and operational performance.
• Monitor yield, scrap, OEE, productivity, and efficiency metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and standardize process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
• Execute capacity studies, line balancing, SMED initiatives, and workflow optimization projects.
• Collaborate with Design and R&D teams by providing manufacturability feedback and process recommendations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools such as DOE, CpK, MSA, A3, Pareto Analysis, and Fishbone Diagrams.
• Provide technical support to Production, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Develop, mentor, and train technical and engineering personnel to build high-performing teams and strengthen organizational capabilities.
