Job summary

Core Molding Technologies in Matamoros, Mexico, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities, meeting production schedules, and ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets.

You will supervise production employees, monitor output, resolve issues, and promote a disciplined, productive work environment while supporting compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in a molding or similar environment.
• Experience leading and developing production employees.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and workplace safety.
• Ability to analyze production performance and take effective corrective action.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet established production schedules, volume, cost, quality, and scrap objectives.
• Monitor production output and quality and adjust staffing, priorities, equipment, or processes as needed to maintain performance.
• Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve performance and quality expectations.
• Address employee and operational issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, downtime, and production performance.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency, and quality.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, production procedures, and safety requirements.
• Promote workplace organization, cleanliness, and discipline through 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Monitor safe operation of equipment and maintain a strong safety culture within the production area.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and applicable environmental requirements.
• Prepare and communicate production information and reports to identify performance issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of production waste in accordance with company procedures and environmental requirements.
