Job summary

KION Group is seeking a Shipping Supervisor in Mexico to lead daily shipping operations and ensure safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries. You will coordinate with Production Planning, Customer Service, Transportation, and Warehouse teams while driving Lean initiatives and SOP improvements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. English and Spanish fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, SCM, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years in Shipping, Warehouse, or Logistics; 2+ years in a supervisory role; manufacturing environment experience; experience managing hourly employees; SAP experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, WMS, Lean Manufacturing, and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping activities to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Coordinate shipment priorities based on production schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate order verification, loading, labeling, and shipping documentation.
• Monitor daily shipping performance against established KPIs.
• Optimize trailer utilization and shipping capacity.
• Coordinate carrier appointments and dispatch schedules.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop shipping personnel.
• Conduct daily shift meetings.
• Assign workloads and balance manpower according to operational needs.
• Monitor employee performance and provide continuous feedback.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
