The KION Group – Dematic site in Mexico City seeks a Professional Site Manager to guide onsite project activities from pre-mobilization to demobilization, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager, Installation and Commissioning teams, Site Services, suppliers, and the Customer, manage documentation, safety records, punch lists, and readiness for commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in site engineering, project execution, construction, or related environments.
• Experience supporting installation and commissioning activities for automated systems preferred.
• Strong reading of technical drawings, layouts, installation documentation, and project specs.
• Experience with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and customer reps.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work onsite and travel as required

Responsabilités

• Coordinate on-site activities with the PM, Site Manager, installation, commissioning, and Site Services teams.
• Maintain project documentation: installation progress, safety records, quality logs, punch lists, and daily/weekly reports.
• Support pre-mobilization activities, including checklists and site surveys.
• Coordinate site equipment, rental gear, access requirements, and documentation.
• Support SQCDP metrics: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People.
• Ensure installation aligns with drawings, specs, standards, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support during mechanical, electrical readiness activities.
• Assist with safety walks, toolbox talks, regulatory checks, and safe-work verification.
• Maintain safety documentation, evacuation plans, and compliance records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to complete tasks timely.
• Support quality inspections, materials management, and verification of installed equipment.
• Assist with material deliveries, inventory tracking, discrepancy reporting, and audits.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and weekly look-ahead planning.
• Track action items, issues, constraints, and risks; escalate as needed.
• Support customer communication with technical updates for Site/PM.
• Coordinate readiness for commissioning and customer acceptance testing.
• Prepare handover packages, sign-off documentation, and onsite training coordination.
• Support site demobilization, including return of excess materials and tools.
