Grupo TECMA in Tijuana, Mexico is seeking a logistics professional to monitor and track shipments, ensuring on-time transportation and accurate updates. You will coordinate with carriers and manage logistics documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Logistics or related field and possess a strong background in supply chain operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced English skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations required.
• Experience tracking containers or shipments.
• Knowledge of logistics processes and customs procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Descripción del empleo

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and track shipments, container movements, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time transportation and accurate status updates.
• Coordinate with carriers, logistics providers, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal departments to support inbound and outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, container locations, arrivals, departures, delays, and transportation activities.
• Verify shipping documentation and ensure all logistics information is complete, accurate, and properly communicated.
• Identify, report, and follow up on transportation issues, delays, and route changes while supporting shipment priorities and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• Experience tracking containers, shipments, or transportation units.
• Knowledge of logistics processes, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems efficiently.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive.
• Advanced English proficiency.
