Mastercard in Mexico City is seeking a Manager, Settlement Operations to oversee daily settlement processing and reconciliation for the Mexico Clearinghouse, with oversight of Arcus-driven processes and backup support for the team.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, ensure regulatory obligations are met for local funding, and lead efforts to identify and resolve settlement issues, delivering timely, accurate results in a fast-paced financial environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or MIS.
• MBA a plus, but not required.
• 6–8 years of experience in card payments, banking back office operations, and SPEI local payments.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations, and the payments industry.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities; cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify reconciliation issues related to Mexico Clearinghouse submissions and consult with Technology teams to mitigate impact.
• Ensure regulatory obligations are met related to funding local Clearinghouses daily.
• Provide backup coverage of key Settlement Operations functions.
• Assist with Settlement Operations to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve settlement issues in a timely manner.
• Liaise with customer-facing teams to action complex settlement issues.
• Work with external customers and internal partners to advise on the settlement setups.
