Marsh in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to join our global engineering team. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week to support urgent incident response and collaboration across time zones.

You will own critical Windows infrastructure work from incident leadership to cloud migrations, build automation with PowerShell, and drive scalable, secure solutions with strong DevOps practices and cross‑functional mentorship.

Formación

• 8–10 years of experience in Windows Server engineering.
• Excellent English communication; able to convey complex concepts globally.
• Deep Windows expertise: Windows Server 2016–2025, failover clustering, AD DS.
• Automation & coding: PowerShell, Git, scripts with version control.
• DevOps/CI/CD: integrate Windows infra into pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Cloud fluency: AWS and Azure networking and compute basics.
• Proven delivery record designing and delivering complex Windows solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. It is a hybrid role that requires working in the office at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead Critical Incident Responses: Take a lead role on Major Incident conference calls, directing and influencing rapid resolution across global, cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Drive Strategic Cloud Migrations: Serve as an authoritative voice and technical anchor for Windows workloads during large‑scale, highly complex cloud migration initiatives.
• Architect and Build Complex Systems: Independently design, engineer and deploy highly resilient, multi‑system Windows environments, mapping complex system dependencies and ensuring infrastructure meets stringent scalability and security baselines.
• Build Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Eliminate manual operational tasks by writing advanced scripts and deploying sophisticated automation pipelines using PowerShell as a core development language.
• Operate with Extreme Autonomy: Function as a mature, self‑directed leader within the engineering domain, mentoring peers and defining global technical standards.

Work Environment

Hybrid work model: You will be required to be in the office at least three days per week, with teams identifying an anchor day per week for full in‑person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Windows Server engineering or a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills; strong English language proficiency, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to peers and global stakeholders.
• Deep Windows mastery: expert-level knowledge of Windows Server architecture (2016‑2025), fail‑over clustering, advanced networking stacks, and Active Directory Domain Services in large, geographically dispersed enterprise environments.
• Automation & coding: hands‑on experience with Git and PowerShell, proficient in writing and reviewing clean, concise scripts and code with version control methodologies.
• DevOps & CI/CD: experience integrating Windows infrastructure into modern continuous delivery pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Cloud fluency: comfortable and secure working within AWS and Microsoft Azure, understanding networking, compute, and identity fabrics of these public clouds.
• Proven delivery record: demonstrable track record of successfully designing, building, and delivering complex Windows solutions, not merely maintaining existing environments.
