Marsh in Mexico City is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure, endpoint, and real estate projects across technology domains. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.

You will align stakeholders, develop detailed risk and project plans, manage budgets, and ensure governance across Planview, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint. Strong English and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

  • 3–5 years in large-scale infrastructure technology.
  • Ability to engage across all organizational levels, including executives.
  • Experience with project financials and budgets.
  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage complex core technology projects end-to-end.
  • Develop and maintain risk and project plans (resources, schedule, cost).
  • Partner with management to resolve resource/schedule challenges.
  • Track program status, finances, and resources.
  • Ensure methodology compliance and audit readiness.
  • Utilize Planview, Azure DevOps, SharePoint for documentation.
  • Maintain clear team and stakeholder communications.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Plan and coordinate project releases.
  • Identify and manage resources and milestones.
  • Provide timely reporting to Steering Groups and governance bodies.

Descripción del empleo

As a IT Project Manager you are expected to have expertise in a wide variety of infrastructure, endpoint, and real estate projects. You will work on several projects across technology in parallel with different stakeholders and sponsors. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
  • Manage complex core technology projects end-to-end to deliver business and corporate function outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed, high-quality risk and project plans covering resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, and dependencies, updating them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with management and cross-functional teams to resolve resource, schedule, or scope challenges, recommending corrective actions and communicating changes effectively.
  • Collate and track program status information and project artefacts at various lifecycle stages, including finances and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with methodology, auditing, and tracking of ongoing projects using agreed tools to keep projects on course.
  • Work with the CTS VMO to ensure adherence to tools such as Planview, Agile Place, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint, maintaining centralized project documentation to meet audit requirements.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the team and stakeholders, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program/project procedures and processes to enhance delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate projects and schedules, including application release schedules.
  • Identify and request project resources, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities; develop and manage resource plans.
  • Use Project Portfolio Management tools (e.g., Planview) to manage resource plans, financials, and milestones.
  • Provide timely reporting and information to support decision-making and issue resolution by Steering Groups, Sponsors, and Governance Boards.
What you need to have:
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a large-scale, complex infrastructure technology environment; financial services experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and engage across all organizational levels, including CxO with support from senior Service Delivery Team members.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience managing project financials.
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and limited budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
