Job summary

Shortcut, a digital product design and engineering studio, seeks a senior designer to own the visual craft from concept to launch. You will evolve brand languages, perspire typography, spacing, and motion details, while explaining decisions to client founders and partnering with frontend engineers for handoff.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy, build design systems, prototype interactions, and ship production interfaces for North America and Latin America.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing digital products in a design studio or product company.
• Strong visual design fundamentals applied to data-dense interfaces.
• Deep knowledge of design tokens, component libraries, and Figma workflows.
• Fluency in Figma and Framer; experience with AI-assisted design tools.
• Clear communication and storytelling; able to handle client feedback gracefully.
• Native Spanish with professional English; overlapping Mexico City working hours.

Responsibilities

• Design web and mobile product interfaces, building design systems from scratch or enhancing UI kits.
• Translate brand identities into functional product surfaces with clear hierarchy and rhythm.
• Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma, Framer, or AI tools to test flows.
• Define micro-interactions and motion details for responsive software.
• Create custom visual assets using traditional tools and AI workflows.
• Build and ship live marketing sites or product views from Figma to Framer or Webflow.
• Present work to clients and collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure production fidelity.
