Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager for its 1P lending team to drive complex, cross-country initiatives across Brazil and Mexico.

You will own programs from requirements to launch, coordinating engineers in São Paulo and India with business partners in Brazil and Mexico. You will partner with Legal, Compliance and Risk to translate local regulatory requirements into technical plans and audit-ready launches, while driving risk management and scalable release processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own programs from start to finish: define requirements through launch and post-launch review.
• Coordinate engineering teams in São Paulo and India with business partners in Brazil and Mexico.
• Work with engineers and SDMs on system design, integration plans and trade-offs; identify architectural risks.
• Turn regulation into delivery: partner with Legal, Compliance and Risk to translate regulatory requirements into technical plans and audit-ready launches.
• Manage risks and dependencies: track and escalate risks across teams; push decisions forward in ambiguous situations.
• Set up planning, release, launch-readiness and reporting processes used to deliver at scale.
• Communicate with leaders: write status updates, narratives and business reviews for senior leaders.
• Keep improving operations: drive programs that improve reliability, security, compliance and customer experience after launch.
