Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Senior Consultant to resolve complex customer challenges within the Managed Services client community. The role requires leading technical investigations, guiding customers, and coordinating resources to drive issues to resolution across multiple teams.

Ideal candidates will have strong JavaScript experience (ReactJS/NodeJS), proficiency with REST APIs, and proven ability to work across application tiers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in application development, technical consulting, production support, integrations, or related work.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript technologies such as ReactJS, NodeJS, and ES6.
• Experience consuming, testing, and troubleshooting REST APIs using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting inbound/outbound system integrations and tracing failures across layers.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems and disciplined practices for changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations from discovery to resolution for Ellucian Managed Services clients.
• Perform root-cause analysis across application, API, integration, data, and code layers.
• Guide customers through findings and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Develop and evaluate multiple solution approaches with consideration for risk and maintainability.
• Prototype and debug applications, scripts, and reports spanning multiple systems.
