Job summary

Reuters is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Sourcing to lead strategic procurement across a global technology portfolio. You will develop category strategies, manage complex supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization while ensuring contractual compliance.

The role requires guiding negotiations with major tech providers, partnering with Technology, Legal, Finance, and Business leaders, and shaping procurement governance in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technology or IT Sourcing, Procurement, or related field.
• Experience negotiating and managing complex technology agreements, including contracts above $20M.
• Strong contract negotiation, commercial terms, supplier management, and drafting/redlining.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies and sourcing plans aligned with technology objectives.
• Lead complex sourcing across infrastructure, cloud, software, telecom, hardware, storage and related services.
• Partner with business leaders on budgeting, spend management, and supplier strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate supplier agreements per company standards.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers and reduce fragmentation for efficiency.
• Build partnerships with Technology, Legal, Risk, Finance, and stakeholders for strategic initiatives.
• Represent Procurement in governance forums with key suppliers and manage supplier performance.
• Share best practices and mentor procurement teammates in negotiation strategies.
• Stay informed on industry trends, supplier markets, and regulatory developments impacting sourcing.
