Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing across global technology portfolios. You will partner with Technology and business stakeholders to drive cost-effective supplier strategies, manage complex agreements, and optimize third-party spend while balancing risk and objectives.

The role is hybrid, requiring remote work and in-office presence at least two days per week, with collaboration across Legal, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in Technology or IT Sourcing, Procurement, or related field.
• Experience negotiating complex technology agreements, including contracts >$20M.
• Strong contract negotiation, terms, and drafting/redlining skills.
• Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies with measurable cost savings.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior business and tech leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligning with technology goals.
• Lead complex sourcing across infrastructure, cloud, software, telecom, and hardware.
• Partner with leaders on budgeting, spend, supplier strategy, and financial planning.
• Deliver sourcing projects with optimal commercial outcomes while managing risk.
• Draft and negotiate supplier agreements per company standards.
• Consolidate suppliers and improve operational efficiency across the landscape.
• Build partnerships with Technology, Legal, Risk, Finance, and business teams.
• Represent Procurement in governance forums with technology suppliers.
• Coach procurement colleagues with best practices and negotiation tactics.
• Stay informed on industry trends, markets, and regulatory developments.
