Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Sourcing to lead global technology procurement initiatives. You will shape category strategies, drive complex sourcing projects, and partner with Technology, Legal, Risk, and Finance to optimize spend and contracts.

The role combines remote work with in-office presence at least two days per week as part of a hybrid model. You will influence senior leaders and guide negotiations with major technology providers.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in technology or IT sourcing or related field.
• Proven negotiating complex technology agreements, including contracts over $20M.
• Strong expertise in contract negotiation, terms, supplier management, and drafting/redlining.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings.
• Experience balancing commercial value with risk and operational needs.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies and sourcing plans aligned with technology objectives.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, software, and related services.
• Partner with business leaders on budgeting, spend management, and supplier strategy.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and execute supplier agreements per company standards.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers and reduce spend fragmentation.
• Represent Procurement in governance forums with key technology suppliers.
