Job summary

GE Vernova Technology Solutions Mexico is seeking an experienced Lead Substation BIM Designer to support project execution, sales and business development in electrification of HV AIS & GIS substations. You will develop 3D models in Revit for high voltage substations and generate electrical 2D drawings.

The role requires coordinating with GSI Global Engineering Centre, performing BIM execution, clash detection, and model audits, and ensuring designs meet safety, quality and cost-efficiency while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Around 7 years of 3D HV Substation modelling experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, speaking, writing).

Responsibilities

• Prepare SLD, General arrangement, layout plan & section of overall substation drawings.
• Create HV equipment erection drawings, control room layouts, GIS building layouts, grounding and trench layouts.
• Use BIM to implement BIM Execution Plans, perform model collaboration, auditing, clash detection, and reports.
