SSOE, Inc. in León, Guanajuato, seeks a skilled Mid-level Electrical Designer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge electrical systems for state-of-the-art facilities.

You will create Revit models, perform short-circuit and voltage drop calculations, and ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA codes. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the Americas, contributing to design-build projects and maintaining BIM quality in accordance with company standards.

Formación

• Engineering bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Electromechanical, Renewable Energy or related).
• 2–5 years of experience as Electrical designer.
• Revit experience required; AutoCAD preferred.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and/or EasyPower is a plus.
• Ability to produce power distribution schematics and system diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed electrical design drawings for power distribution, switchgear, lighting, grounding.
• Create and maintain Revit models for electrical systems and construction documents.
• Produce panel schedules and system diagrams to meet project criteria.
• Participate in BIM coordination with multiple disciplines to ensure design integrity.
• Ensure BIM model quality and adherence to standards and plans.
• Determine conduit, conductor, and wire sizing based on loads and environment.
• Assess cable tray fills for future scalability and proper management.
• Perform short circuit and voltage drop calculations for safety and reliability.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA and applicable codes; apply standard design practices.
