Nextpower is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the LATAM Project Engineering Team, based in Brazil. You will manage all structural decisions for solar tracking projects, including wind load calculations, steel and foundation design, and construction support, interfacing with teams in the US, Mexico, Europe, and beyond.

• BS in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of structural engineering experience in the EPC industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Experience with wind, seismic, foundation design.
• Knowledge of ABNT NBR, ASCE, AISC, AISI.
• VB and Python is a plus.
• Passion for solar/renewables industry.
• Self-motivated team player.

Responsabilidades

• Produce civil and structural design documentation, including drawings and calculations.
• Assist in project development phase, review site information, calculations, and cost estimation.
• Prepare wind, seismic, foundation, and other structural calculations and sign/seal those if required.
• Provide construction support; RFIs and submittals.
• Assist in development of NexTracker products and understand the product.
• Coordinate with other region engineers to create/update standards, specifications, templates, and design tools.
• Manage schedule and review consultants' works.
• Assist in development of expanding Nextracker Design Services team.
