Nextpower, a leading solar tracker and software solutions provider, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Mexico City to join the Project Engineering Team. You will manage day-to-day structural tasks for foundations of utility-scale PV projects, from development through construction, coordinating with teams in the US, India, and other offices.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering with emphasis on foundations.
• Strong knowledge of international standards (IBC, ASCE, ASTM, AISC, ACI).
• Experience with wind, seismic, dead, live, snow loads in design and documentation.
• 3+ years in structural engineering, preferably solar EPC.

Responsabilidades

• Produce structural drawings and calculations for foundations and structures.
• Review site info, perform calculations, and contribute to cost estimates.
• Perform wind, seismic, and foundation analyses and prepare calculations/reports.
• Sign/seal documents as required and provide RFI responses.
• Develop and maintain design tools and templates with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with engineers across regions and manage deliverables.
• Support design services expansion and team development.
• Occasionally visit sites for geotech investigations and pile tests.
