PVH - PVHardware is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize tracker structures for solar applications, ensuring stability under wind, load, and ground movement.

You will lead structural calculations with ANSYS, Abaqus and Consteel, collaborate with design and production teams, perform material testing, and generate technical documentation and certifications to support manufacturing and quality control.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• 5+ years in a similar structural role.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in solar tracking and structural calculation preferred.
• Experience with finite element software (Ansys, Abaqus, Consteel).
• Basic AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Structural analysis and simulations of tracker structures for strength and stability under wind, load, and ground movement.
• Design optimization to reduce material usage and costs while improving tracker performance.
• Perform structural calculations and validations to meet international standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with design and production engineering teams to implement structural designs.
• Material testing and evaluation for strength, durability, and cost considerations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and certifications.
• Ensure quality control and alignment of manufacturing processes with structural requirements.
• Participate in project planning and coordination for tracker design and analysis.
• Identify and mitigate risks to reliability and safety.
