Jabil in Mexico seeks a Purchasing professional to optimize cost of materials and develop supply base and SCM strategies. You will negotiate pricing, terms and agreements for strategic components and supervise Purchasing staff within the workcell.

You will analyze component prices for inventory value, support training, and drive supplier performance on cost, delivery and quality while aligning with regional business objectives and AML processes.

Formación

• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient with PCs and Windows-based software.
• Advanced PC skills including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence; read and understand visuals.
• Ability to follow simple instructions with minimal variables.
• Ability to operate in standardized situations with few variables.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform arithmetic operations and basic analytics.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and project component purchase prices for inventory value in standard costing.
• Assist hiring manager with recruitment activities.
• Provide training and resources to Purchasing staff.
• Optimize overall cost of materials.
• Support and contribute to SCM initiatives and strategies.
• Develop supplier base and AML lists for customers.
