Carrier is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead metal stamping and forming process optimization in a high-volume manufacturing setting. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency through Lean/Six Sigma, tooling management, and technical leadership.

You will support production operations, optimize equipment performance, reduce waste, and ensure reliable processes while mentoring teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience with metal stamping operations in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of press types and parameters (mechanical, hydraulic, servo) and tonnage, stroke, shut-height.
• Experience with progressive, transfer, tandem, and forming dies.
• Knowledge of stamping defects, troubleshooting techniques, and process control methodologies.
• Experience in process standardization, continuous improvement, and manufacturing optimization.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of press automation systems and coil feeding equipment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, or Radan).
• Experience using Minitab for statistical analysis and process capability studies.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and root cause analysis tools.
• Strong technical leadership, project management, communication, and team development skills.
• Advanced English level

Responsabilités

• Ensuring compliance with safety standards for press operations.
• Establishing and maintaining process windows for critical press parameters.
• Drive improvements in OEE and reduce cycle times in stamping operations.
• Lead root cause investigations to resolve production and quality issues.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce scrap and variation.
• Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, PFMEAs, and process docs.
• Manage die procurement, modification, validation, and release of dies.
• Coordinate die trials, adjustments, and validation before production.
• Implement die protection, feed error detection, and tonnage monitoring systems.
• Provide manufacturing support for stamping, feeding, lubrication, and press equipment issues.
• Support ECNs and new product/process validations.
• Lead SMED initiatives to reduce die changeover times.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize die life.
• Coordinate continuous improvement projects and provide technical leadership.
