Carrier is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead metal stamping process optimization in a high-volume plant. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, and technical leadership across stamping operations.

You will oversee tooling, die management, and process documentation, coordinate die trials, and support continuous improvement initiatives while providing strong cross-functional leadership and communications.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or process roles.
• Experience with metal stamping operations in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of presses, dies, tooling, and process control techniques.
• Experience in process standardization, continuous improvement, and manufacturing optimization.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical docs.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Lean/Six Sigma methods, and root cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety standards and best practices for press operations.
• Set and monitor process windows for critical press parameters.
• Improve OEE and reduce stamping cycle times.
• Lead root cause investigations for production and quality issues.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma to reduce scrap and variation.
• Maintain operating procedures, PFMEAs, and process docs.
• Coordinate die/tooling changes, trials, and validations.
• Support ECNs and new product/process validations.
• Lead SMED projects to reduce changeovers and improve availability.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance for dies and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and technical team leadership.
• Demonstrate advanced English proficiency.
