Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Senior Manager of Operational Excellence (OPEX) to lead the site’s productivity strategy and Lean transformation. You will drive Carrier Excellence initiatives and ensure alignment with financial plans, delivering sustained improvements in cost, efficiency, quality, and overall operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years leading Lean/Operational Excellence or manufacturing transformation initiatives.
• Experience in manufacturing with knowledge of operations, maintenance, or industrial processes.
• Demonstrated leadership in productivity, Lean, Kaizen, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives.
• Advanced English proficiency, valid U.S. visa, willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s Operational Excellence strategy and productivity initiatives, aligning with operational and financial objectives.
• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, waste reduction, process optimization and cost improvement.
• Lead plant transformation initiatives including layout optimization, process redesign, and workflow improvements.
• Drive Carrier Excellence tools and methodologies, including risk assessments and performance metrics.
• Lead cross‑functional SWAT initiatives with Manufacturing, Operations, Maintenance, IE, Quality and Finance.
