Maersk in Mexico City is seeking an Automation Engineer - AI & Intelligent Automation to join our Automation Center of Excellence. You will design and deliver intelligent automation solutions using Power Platform, Generative AI, Copilot technologies, and AI services to transform business processes and drive efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–7 years designing and implementing automation using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Hands-on with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
• Experience integrating with SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, and other enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies, AI Builder, Azure AI Services, Copilot Studio, LLMs, or IDP.
• Understanding of enterprise automation architecture, solution design, and operational excellence.
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Process Mining, SQL, JavaScript, JSON, Python, or C# is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and continuous improvement mindset.

• Create autonomous AI agents and digital assistants to orchestrate workflows and multi-step processes.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize automation solutions for reliability and performance.
• Apply governance, security, and Responsible AI across all initiatives.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to expand intelligent automation.

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Engineer - AI & Intelligent Automation to join our Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) in Mexico City. In this role, you will design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that combine Microsoft Power Platform, Generative AI, Copilot technologies, Agentic AI, and intelligent process orchestration. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and AI specialists to transform business processes, improve operational efficiency, and help drive the next generation of AI-powered logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Azure AI Services, Copilot Studio, and AI Builder.
• Build end-to-end automation solutions that integrate APIs, RPA, AI services, and enterprise business applications.
• Develop AI-powered workflows that support document understanding, information extraction, email triage, content generation, case summarization, and decision support.
• Create autonomous AI agents and digital assistants capable of orchestrating workflows and executing multi-step business processes.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise automation solutions to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and business outcomes.
• Apply governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI principles across all automation and AI initiatives.
• Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities to simplify processes and expand the use of intelligent automation across the organization.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4 to 7 years of experience designing and implementing automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Power Automate Desktop, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
• Experience integrating automation solutions with platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, and other enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies, AI Builder, Azure AI Services, Copilot Studio, LLMs, Intelligent Document Processing, or related AI capabilities.
• Understanding of enterprise automation architecture, solution design, and operational excellence practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Process Mining, SQL, JavaScript, JSON, Python, or C# is an advantage.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset with a passion for innovation.
