Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to lead advanced software development within the Lexis+ AI product line. You will translate user requests into robust solutions and contribute to project plans and technical direction, while mentoring others.

The role requires a CS/Engineering degree, .NET/C#, fluency in English and Spanish, and the ability to work onsite two days per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience designing and developing software within a product area; expertise in .NET (C#).
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Strong understanding of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency with data models, storage subsystems, and data manipulation.
Ability to work across teams with technical stakeholders.
Experience applying industry best practices in software development and testing.
Ability to write and review technical documentation and specifications.
Reside in Mexico City and able to work onsite 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

Performing complex research, design, and software development tasks within a software functional area.
Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for complex components.
Completing complex bug fixes and resolving technical issues as necessary.
Translating product requirements into software designs.
Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
Designing and working with complex data models.
Keeping abreast of new technology developments and coordinating with teammates.
