Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Mexico City is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to guide a group of developers, provide hands-on coding, mentoring, and shape technical direction for impactful software solutions.

You will translate product goals into designs, promote best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment, while 2 days per week onsite. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Reside in Mexico City and available to work onsite 2 days per week.
.NET/C# and Angular proficiency.
Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Skilled in test-driven development and working with complex data models.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical resources.
Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator across diverse audiences and organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for technical issues within your team.
Translate product requirements into effective software designs.
Lead team operations including hiring, training, performance feedback, and fostering innovation.
Mentor and support junior engineers in their growth.
Promote best practices in development, including code reviews and testing.
Work in Agile, Kanban, or other development environments.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
Design and manage complex data models.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
