PayJoy in Mexico City seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications. You will build backend services with Django, frontend with Vue.js, and design RESTful APIs to support high-volume systems.

You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams, participate in architecture discussions, write clean code, and mentor others in an Agile environment while delivering reliable software for financial services.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing backend applications using Python.
• Experience building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong database design and SQL performance tuning with PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using Django and Vue.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and contribute to engineering practices.
• Mentor other engineers and share knowledge across the team.
