PayJoy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications. You will build backend services with Django, develop modern web apps with Vue.js, and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume systems.

You will work with PostgreSQL/MySQL, participate in architecture and code reviews, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience developing backend applications with Python.
• Experience building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Frontend experience with Vue.js and modern JavaScript.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices and SOA.
• Experience integrating internal and third-party APIs.
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing, TDD, and code reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using Django and Vue.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases for performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor other engineers and share knowledge across the team.
