Job summary

Capgemini Mexico seeks a Senior Data Operations Engineer to ensure stability, security, and operational excellence of enterprise data platforms. The role emphasizes Snowflake administration, automation, and governance, collaborating with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams to deliver reliable data services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data platforms, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with production environments, RBAC, and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in Data Platform Operations or Snowflake administration.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake environments across Production, QA, Development, and DR.
• Manage RBAC, service accounts, warehouses, databases, schemas, and configs.
• Monitor platform health, incidents, and changes; drive root-cause analysis.
• Execute deployments across Snowflake, DBT, Matillion, and related tech.
• Develop automation using Python, SQL, REST APIs, and GitHub.
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and security/governance docs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams.
