Gecko Alliance is seeking a Sr SMT Engineer to keep production lines running efficiently through good manufacturing practices and to define the best work methods ensuring quality on every assembled board.

The role involves leading root cause analyses, monitoring yields and scrap, programming and optimizing SMT machines, and supporting NPI with new equipment technology. You will lead direct reports and communicate with SMT stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Formación

• Experience leading SMT process improvements and corrective actions.
• Ability to monitor yield, scrap and productivity and recommend tooling and process changes.
• Knowledge of evaluating new equipment technology for NPI.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing SMT processes, productivity and performance.
• Monitors yield, efficiency, productivity and scrap; estimates manufacturing costs, conducts safety assessments, performs control and capacity analysis, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
• Programs and optimize SMT machines to increase production capacity.
• Execute programed SWO’s by R&D and provide run reports.
• Support NPI and detection of new equipment technology required for new product technology.
• Leads and develops direct reports, provides high customer service to internal and external clients while establishing effective communication with all SMT process stockholders.
