AgileEngine is seeking a Senior SDET to strengthen quality across web and API layers using Java, REST Assured, and Playwright. This role blends a developer-first mindset with a shift-left testing philosophy, embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines.

You will build testing practices from the ground up in a fast-moving engineering environment. You will lead automation initiatives, mentor engineers in quality practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while collaborating

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java (a developer-first approach to QA).
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of the shift-left approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Create comprehensive API automation suites to ensure the integrity of microservices.

ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create comprehensive API automation suites to ensure the integrity of microservices.

MUST HAVES

NICE TO HAVES

• Previous experience in the Loyalty or Fintech sectors.
• Experience with Performance or Load testing (e.g., JMeter or Gatling).
• Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure and SQL for data validation within test scripts.
• Experience working with Mocking frameworks.
