Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Renewable Energy Project Manager for a fully remote role in Mexico. You will lead end-to-end management of large-scale projects, from development through commissioning.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder engagement, guiding distributed teams and ensuring environmental and permitting compliance. Fluent English and Spanish are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in renewable energy.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex renewable energy projects.
• Experience with project finance and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of renewable energy projects.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and foster collaboration.
• Manage relationships with clients, investors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, with high quality and safety.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors.
• Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
• Contribute to strategic development of the project pipeline.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and permitting requirements.
