Placements24 seeks a seasoned Renewable Energy Project Manager for a fully remote role in Mexico. You will lead end-to-end management of large-scale projects, from development through commissioning.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder engagement, guiding distributed teams and ensuring environmental and permitting compliance. Fluent English and Spanish are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in renewable energy.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex renewable energy projects.
• Experience with project finance and development processes.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

Our client is a leading developer and operator of renewable energy projects, committed to accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future. We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Renewable Energy Project Manager for a fully remote position. This role will lead the end-to-end management of large-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring successful execution from initiation through to completion. You will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in managing complex energy projects, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of renewable energy technologies and markets. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including development, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or Master's degree is a strong plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, etc.).
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex renewable energy projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project finance, and development processes.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP certification, MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage distributed teams effectively in a remote setting.
• Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
