Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Finance & Accounting Expert based in Mexico to design realistic, multi-step finance tasks for benchmarking and assessment.

The role is remote and contractor-based, with an initial 12-month engagement, about 15 hours per week. You will develop clear instructions, grading rubrics, and supporting materials for FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, reconciliations, or related field
• Experience developing structured review standards, checklists, rubrics, or training assessments
• Strong Excel skills across multiple financial documents
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Strong written English for precise instructions and documentation
• CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA is an advantage but not required

Responsibilities

• Design realistic, multi-step finance tasks based on practical workflows (FP&A, reporting, audit, reconciliations)
• Develop clear task instructions and objective grading rubrics for reviewers
• Create challenging scenarios requiring professional judgment and sound financial reasoning
• Prepare or source supporting materials (spreadsheets, GL extracts, financial statements, policies)
• Review tasks for clarity, accuracy, and gradability; flag ambiguities
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule with quality and consistency
