ABB in Monterrey, Mexico, seeks an R&D Senior Engineer to develop innovative electrical/electromechanical products for the ELSP (Smart Power) Business. You will lead design efforts, ensure safety and quality compliance, and support new product introduction within NAM C&I.

Flexibility and collaboration in a global R&D team are essential. You will work on-site at the Monterrey site, with responsibilities spanning innovation, testing, and IP development, while coordinating with cross-functional

Formación

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Power Eng or related field.
5+ years in design, development and manufacturing of electrical/electromechanical products.
Knowledge of safety switches, transfer switches, ATS, panelboards, circuit breakers or similar.
Experience with product testing, DoE, data analysis, and troubleshooting design issues.
Familiarity with UL, IEC, IEEE standards.
Experience with Creo and Windchill.
