ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon seeks an experienced Senior/Project Engineer to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline. You will lead assignments on projects, ensuring adherence to contract specs, quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards.

The role contributes to Electrification and involves shaping customer solutions, delivering costed work plans, coordinating manufacturing, testing, and commissioning, and coaching peers in engineering practices.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, or similar engineering.
4+ years of experience in similar roles (Senior Project Engineer & Project Engineer).
Availability: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; days off Mon-Thu.
Electrical and mechanical knowledge required.
Experience with AutoCAD, CREO, and SolidWorks.
Experience with switchboards, switchgear and MCCs.
Experience managing a team.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

Be a design authority for an engineering discipline on multiple projects.
Create work plans and cost estimates for project portfolios and ensure timely, quality delivery.
Coordinate with relevant functions to manufacture, test, install and commission designs.
Coach engineering colleagues on translating concepts into engineering documentation and best practices.
