Vertiv Co in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to new product releases within a cross-functional development group. You will lead electrical engineering tasks, mentor junior engineers, and solve complex design challenges with no predefined precedents.

The role involves designing CRAC products, coordinating with mechanical, process, and production teams, and ensuring compliance with NEC, IEEE, and UL standards.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited college.
• 7+ years of experience in new product development as an individual contributor.
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently.
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced teammates.
• Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD; CREO 4.0 or newer preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC (NFPA70), IEEE 519, UL 508A SB.

Responsabilidades

• Design new CRAC products and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, process, and production teams.
• Perform engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
• Create and review electrical box/panel layouts with proper component placement and compliance.
• Select and evaluate electrical components, instrumentation, and control devices.
• Develop CAD drawings (2D/3D) for electro-mechanical assemblies and wire harnesses.
• Maintain BOMs and product definitions in PLM/PDM to support reuse and manufacturing.
• Lead engineering tasks and guide other electrical engineers to meet timelines.
• Work with software team to develop CRAC system controls and support testing.
