Gentherm México is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead PPAP activities and ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality procedures.

You will manage complaint handling, maintain quality documentation, and drive continuous improvements using core tools and statistical methods in an automotive context across Acuña, Celaya, and Monterrey operations. This role demands leadership, urgency, and effective communication.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering
• 4–5 years’ automotive quality systems experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and IATF 16949
• Strong problem solving skills
• Statistical tools knowledge
• Core tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, organization and urgency
• Excellent oral and written communication

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the PPAP activities and ensure response times meet customer requirements.
• Manage the customer complaint handling system using appropriate problem-solving methodologies.
• Keep databases updated regarding corrective and preventive actions, internal and external.
• Coordinate quality planning activities.
• Establish and maintain documented product quality procedures.
• Identify and acquire controls, processes, equipment, resources and skills necessary to meet quality.
• Identify and prepare product quality records.
• Manage documentation related to PPAP and representative samples of processes.
• Preserve documentation of quality plans per retention procedures.
• Define measurement techniques and sampling plans.
• Define and establish reaction plans when acceptance criteria are not met.
• Apply statistical verification/validation methods where required by quality plans.
• Document corrective and preventive actions.
• Apply procedures for handling customer complaints.
• Participate in Advanced Quality Planning activities.
• Comply with customer requirements and quality system requirements.
• Identify the need to use statistical techniques to control processes.
• Update quality control, inspection and testing techniques and develop new instrumentation.
