Eaton's IS AER ITD division in Mexico seeks a Sr. Quality Engineer to drive quality across design, manufacturing and support. You will assign tasks to engineers and inspectors, plan QA activities, and prepare reports for major programs.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality documentation, enabling the QMS, and leading 5S/Kaizen initiatives. You will review drawings, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate supplier audits and corrective actions to ensure compliance.

Formación

• Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9000
• Proven experience in the metal-mechanical industry.
• Proficient in GD&T interpretation.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• High-level MS Office computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel and others.
• English level - Advanced

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
• Assist Quality manager, in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
• Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
• Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Review and approve changes to Drawings, Specifications, Manufacturing Job Instructions, Travelers, etc. to assure continued compliance to approved data.
• Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
• Lead customer meetings and follow CA implementation
• Lead Corrective actions and Nonconformance product resolution.
• Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Manage suppliers’ performance and conduct audits.
