Citi in Mexico City seeks a Testing Manager to lead and supervise IT testing teams, shaping testing strategy and delivery across projects.

You will ensure adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle, drive UAT processes, and foster strong communication and diplomacy to influence stakeholders while managing budgets and schedules. This role requires 5–8 years of testing experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a proven ability to establish testing standards and drive continuous improvement.

Formación

• 5-8 years of experience in a testing environment.
• In-depth understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle processes.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Financial services experience preferred
• Requires communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence.

Responsabilidades

• Supports UAT process and product rollout into production.
• Resolves variable and complex issues with substantial potential impact.
• Improves process efficiencies in support of unit objectives; recommends and implements new work procedures.
• Exhibits good understanding of concepts and procedures within own area.
• Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within IT testing and has basic commercial awareness.
• Develops testing standards and ensures compliance to the standards.
• Uses evaluative judgment in complicated or novel situations; uses multiple sources of information.
• Impacts the area through delivery of end results and contribution to planning, finances budget and formulation of policies.
• Management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
