Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure quality across an AWS-hosted SaaS platform. The role blends manual exploratory testing with Playwright automation, API validation, performance testing, and release validation in a hybrid setup.

You will expand automated coverage, validate REST APIs and end-to-end workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA processes and delivery quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA engineering experience with SaaS or distributed systems.
• Strong REST API validation, backend testing, and UI testing skills.
• Experience building automated tests with Playwright and API validation.
• Experience in hybrid QA approaches combining manual and automated testing.
• Ability to work in CI/CD pipelines and release validation across environments.
• Familiarity with AWS-hosted SaaS platforms and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute tests for APIs, backend services, and UI workflows.
• Validate API contracts, authentication flows, and data validation.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across environments.
• Create repeatable test cases and documentation for releases and fixes.
• Develop and expand Playwright-based automation and utilities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, SRE, and DevOps for quality gates.
