You will define test data, monitor results with dashboards, mentor juniors, and ensure release readiness through early quality involvement and continuous testing practices.

Formación

• Strong Playwright-based web automation and TypeScript scripting for scalable frameworks across product teams.
• Experience with RestAssured or similar tools for REST testing, error handling, and contracts.
• Proficient in GitLab and GitHub Copilot to manage version control and code reviews.
• Understanding of AWS-hosted architectures from a testing perspective, including test env setup and logs.
• Background in digital marketing or mobility solutions is a plus for relevant domain insight.

Job Summary

Lead Quality Engineer role in a hybrid day shift model responsible for defining and driving robust test strategies across web and service platforms powered by AWS TypeScript and modern automation frameworks. The role focuses on maximizing product reliability and user trust using tools including GitHub Copilot Gitlab Playwright and RestAssured while enabling seamless collaboration with global teams through strong English communication and structured quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive test strategy design for complex web and service applications using Playwright TypeScript and RestAssured ensuring high reliability and consistent user experience across digital channels.
• Oversee creation and optimization of automation test suites integrated with Gitlab based pipelines enabling efficient regression coverage and rapid feedback for development teams.
• Coordinate quality activities across hybrid working teams by planning test cycles aligning priorities and maintaining high visibility of quality risks and mitigation actions.
• Guide test design for APIs and microservices hosted on AWS environments using RestAssured and related tools ensuring robust validation of functionality performance and resilience.
• Implement scalable test data management and environment strategies collaborating with platform teams to keep test systems stable secure and representative of production conditions.
• Monitor and analyze test execution results using reporting dashboards deriving insights on defect trends and coverage gaps that directly improve release readiness and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with developers product owners and operations stakeholders to clarify requirements refine acceptance criteria and prevent defects through early quality involvement.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot and TypeScript to accelerate development of maintainable test scripts emphasizing code readability modular design and long term automation sustainability.
• Champion adoption of continuous testing practices within Gitlab based continuous integration flows ensuring every change is validated rapidly and consistently before reaching production.
• Drive root cause analysis for critical defects by tracing issues across code configuration and environment factors and translating findings into actionable improvements in process and tooling.
• Coordinate quality metrics definition and tracking such as defect density automation coverage and escape rates to demonstrate the impact of quality engineering on business outcomes.
• Engage with digital marketing and mobility stakeholders when relevant to validate flows for dealer management incentives management and social engagement journeys focusing on end user trust and efficiency.
• Mentor junior quality engineers through hands on guidance on automation patterns Git workflows AWS fundamentals and structured defect reporting strengthening overall team capability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong expertise in Playwright based web automation and TypeScript scripting with a track record of building robust frameworks that scale across multiple product teams.
• Apply proven experience in RestAssured or similar tools for service level testing including validation of REST endpoints error handling behavior and contract expectations.
• Exhibit proficient use of Gitlab and GitHub Copilot to manage version control workflows support code reviews and accelerate authoring of clean and reliable test code.
• Bring solid understanding of AWS hosted application architectures from a testing perspective including configuration of test environments use of logs and analysis of service dependencies.
• Show practical involvement in digital marketing or mobility related solutions such as social engagement incentives programs and dealer management journeys as a beneficial domain background.
• Communicate clearly in English in both written and spoken forms to document test plans share results and collaborate effectively with international product and engineering teams.

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Test Automation Engineer and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
