Job summary
Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to elevate software quality at our Queretaro, Mexico office. You will drive the shift from manual to automated testing and build scalable automation frameworks, using Playwright or equivalent, with strong SQL and Azure DevOps integration.
You will mentor teammates, participate in design discussions, and ensure clear QA processes across projects. This role requires 5+ years of web testing experience and fluent English communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in web testing and automation.
- Experience introducing or scaling test automation in teams with manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and defect tracking processes.
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates in software design discussions, reviews, and test strategy sessions.
- Lead the transition from manual to automated testing by designing scalable solutions and implementing automation frameworks.
- Select, configure, and maintain automation tools (Playwright or equivalent).
- Design, execute, and maintain system and regression tests.
- Mentor junior team members and represent QA leadership at meetings.
