Job summary

Ria Money Transfer in Querétaro, Mexico is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing development team. You will work with QA Automation, Software Engineers and DevOps to design, execute and maintain test plans that align with requirements and design specifications.

The role requires experience testing web-based apps, mobile apps and web services, plus SQL for data validation and knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes. Hybrid work schedule M-F (9-6) is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience testing web-based applications, mobile apps and web services.
• Experience writing simple SQL queries for data validation.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking processes.
• Ability to define and maintain test coverage metrics (LOC tested, build failures, escaped bugs).
• Understanding of test types such as UAT, functional, integration, and performance.
• Familiarity with usability testing, cross-browser testing, HTTP requests/responses and JSON data.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, designs and develop test plans aligned to specifications.
• Ensure test cases are traceable to requirements and design.
• Conduct regression testing and analyze failures; file defects promptly.
• Perform scripted and exploratory testing.
• Root cause analysis of production issues.
• Review production release requests and provide a vote of confidence.
