PALO IT is seeking a Senior API Backend Developer to design, build, and evolve scalable backend services using Python FastAPI. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software that meets security and performance requirements.

You will lead architectural discussions, optimize RESTful APIs and databases, mentor junior developers, and promote CI/CD and observability practices as part of our AI‑native engineering culture.

Formación

• 5+ years backend experience, Python and FastAPI proficiency.
• RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems expertise.
• SQL/NoSQL database design, optimization, and tuning.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python FastAPI.
• Lead backend architecture decisions to ensure performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend, product teams, and stakeholders to integrate server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and security; enforce coding standards.
• Mentor junior developers and promote high-quality, maintainable code.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to production support.
• Promote API design, testing, observability, and CI/CD best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and AI-native engineering practices.
