PALO IT in Mexico City is seeking a Senior API Backend Developer to design, build, and evolve scalable backend services using Python FastAPI. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust APIs, ensure security, performance, and maintainability, and mentor peers in best practices.

You will contribute to architecture decisions, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-native development practices, helping clients transform with modern backend solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python and FastAPI experience.
• Solid RESTful API design and microservices knowledge.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security, authentication, and data protection.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and guide design decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Lead backend architecture designs and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure security, reliability, and observability.
• Review code and mentor teammates to improve quality.
