AgileEngine is seeking a Python Developer to build and scale an event-driven integration platform, including APIs, resilience mechanisms, and AI-facing integrations. You will own components end-to-end from design to production support, collaborating with cross‑functional squads.

The role emphasizes robust architectures, contract-first interfaces (OpenAPI/AsyncAPI), streaming with Kafka, and GenAI-assisted development.

Formación

• Production Python experience and strong fundamentals with APIs and services.
• Experience with event-driven and asynchronous architecture, messaging and replay.
• REST API design with OpenAPI; familiarity with AsyncAPI contracts.
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platform.
• GenAI-assisted development and ability to reason about AI outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Build a Python service for observation/intent/outcome event taxonomy and durable logs.
• Design and maintain OpenAPI/AsyncAPI interfaces.
• Create a correlation/decision layer for idempotent ITSM actions.
• Develop resilience mechanisms for degraded upstream platforms.
• Support multiple access patterns: fire-and-forget, poll, webhooks, streaming.
• Own event type registry and self-service onboarding for teams.
