Sulzer is seeking a Project Director to oversee the delivery of major strategic projects from award to handover. You will lead project managers and teams, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong financial acumen, contract management, and risk oversight; you will interface with customer leadership and senior management throughout project execution. Travel 25–50% and bilingual English/Spanish; Portuguese preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of experience leading complex industrial projects.
• 5+ years leading large multidisciplinary project teams.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; Portuguese preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% depending on assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and direct major projects from contract award through final closeout.
• Define execution strategy, organization, governance, staffing and comms.
• Lead Project Managers and core project teams on the project.
• Ensure objectives, milestones, deliverables and success criteria.
• Maintain control of safety, quality, schedule, budgets and risk.
