Corning Incorporated in Mexico is seeking an experienced Production Planner to optimize manufacturing operations. You will develop and manage production schedules aligning with customer demand, inventory targets, and resource availability.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP, and collaboration with supply chain, purchasing, and operations. You will monitor metrics, drive continuous improvement, and help ensure timely delivery of products.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of supply chain experience.
• Experience with SAP.
• English proficiency.
• Experience in production planning or scheduling in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• APICS certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Production Planning Oversight: Create and manage production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations, aligning with customer demand and resource availability.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report key metrics such as OTP, PLT, order dating, late backlog to ensure schedule attainment.
• Capacity and Scheduling Management: Align capacity plans with customer needs in collaboration with operations and planning teams.
• Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Work with regional/global teams, purchasing, operations, and engineering to address supply-demand gaps and backorders.
• SAP Expertise: Extensive experience in planning transactions to support production orders management.
• Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in production planning.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on production adherence, capacity, and utilization.
• Cross-Regional Collaboration: Partner with other Corning sites and Global teams to meet customer requirements.
